What
is an Online MBA?
Classes
in the Online MBA meet over the Internet; you’re not required
to travel to campus. The Online MBA is the ideal choice for
professionals who travel for business or parents with young
children. You’ll read lectures, get assignments, engage
in classroom discussions, get to know your professors and other
students, and submit your coursework online, via Manhattanour
own easy-to-use educational software. |

classroom is virtual but the education and quality are real.

the same curriculum, uses the same outstanding faculty and resources,

our Evening MBA.
How
does the Online MBA work?
You'll enroll in two courses per term and complete your degree
in less than two years.
The
Online MBA curriculum consists of the General Program only; no concentration
is available. Degree requirements are the same as those for on campus
study. Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an
accredited college or university.
Students must
complete 37-48 credit hours:
- 11 waiveable
foundation credits;
- nine core
courses (28 credit hours);
- three assigned
electives (nine hours credit hours)

Students who
have begun MBA study at another institution may transfer up to 12
credits into a Western New England College MBA program.
Classes
forming now for fall 2003
The Online
MBA follows an accelerated schedulewith classes offered over
four eleven-week terms per year. We've developed a fixed schedule
of two core classes each term. This will allow you to earn your
degree in less than two years.
The foundation
classes will be offered this summer (7/7-9/22/03). Two core classes
will be offered each term beginning in the fall (9/29-12/18/03).

What
are the tuition and fees?
There is no additional charge for our online courses.
Tuition for 2003-2004 will be:
$472 per
credit plus $10 per credit general service fee and a $20 registration
fee per term. Cost for 3 credits:

How
do I apply?
You may download

Submit
your application along with:
- a nonrefundable
$30 application fee
- two essays
(see the checklist on page 2 of the application)
- an official
transcript from all institutions attended
- an official
GMAT score report
- two recommendations

You may enroll
in the Online MBA under Provisional status while you're completing
all parts of your application. However, you will not be allowed
to register for more than two 600-level courses until you have been
formally admitted.
How
do I get my textbooks and library materials?
Online students can locate textbooks through the
College bookstore. Books can be shipped via UPS ground or next day
service. Orders can be made over the phone at 413-782-1284 or online
at www.wnec.bkstr.com (choose
"Main Campus").
Todays
electronic reference tools make it easier than ever to locate the
information you need to conduct research for papers and reports.
As a Western New England College student, you have access to the
excellent resources at the D’Amour Library. Many of their
materials and services, including reference help, are available
online.
Our Online
Writing and Reading Program offers a wealth of student
resources -- dictionaries, reference tools, research guides and
more.
